  • Action Menu – the menu containing ‘action items’ found in the second and third horizontal dividers of the PCRecruiter interface, typically at the right side (if not configured to stick to the left). This menu contains icons that trigger an action.
  • Add Wizard – accessed via the lightning bolt icon at the top right corner of the interface, this offers quick access to the utilities for adding names, companies, or jobs to the database.

  • Control Pack – another name for the PCR Launcher
  • Custom Field – fields which are created for Name, Company, or Position records within an individual database, rather than fields which are standard across all PCRecruiter databases and customers. These are also sometimes referred to as “Detail Fields”, as they appear under the ‘Details’ navigation tab on the record.

  • Inhaler – a Windows desktop application that imports resumes from folders or Outlook and creates Name records in the database.

  • Job Board – the portion of PCRecruiter which can be exposed to jobseekers, typically via your website, to display position data and collect candidate data into the system.
  • Lucene – an open-source database search utility supported by the Apache Software Foundation. PCRecruiter databases use Lucene for searching databases.
