Broadbean is a job board aggregator that posts to over 7000 job boards and channels. Positions in your PCRecruiter Job Board can be uploaded to your Broadbean account.
Configuring your database to post positions to Broadbean #
- While logged in as an administrative user, open System
- Select Job Board and then open Job Board Channels. Alternatively, you can type āJob Channelsā in the search box to quickly find this in the System section.
- Click on the large + under Standard Job Boards at the top.
- Select Broadbean from the list.
- Click Done
- Click Save
Configuring users for Broadbean posting #
Every user who will be sending jobs to Broadbean must be configured with the Broadbean username and password.
- Log into PCRecruiter as the user will be posting to Broadbean.
- Go to any Position record.
- Click the Post Job icon in the action menu of the position record.
- Click the Configure gear on the Broadbean line.
- Enter your XML job upload credentials as provided by Broadbean
- Click Save
Posting jobs to Broadbean #
- Open the Position you wish to post.
- Click the Post Job icon.
- With a checkmark placed in the row that contains Broadbean click Next.
- You will see the Job Title displayed. Click Save
- Click Post and it will take you to a screen asking which sites you wish to post to. Select the individual sites you wish to post the position to, or select the check box for All Sites Below if you wish to post to all of them. Then click Continue.
- The next screen will have additional fields to fill out. Ones marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Continue.
- The next screen will allow you to review all the information about the position along with timing for your posting, the contact details, and duration.
- Click Send Advert to complete the posting process.
- Close the window to exit the posting wizard.
Removing a position from Broadbean #
- Open a Position that is posted to Broadbeanās job board.
- Click the Post Job icon.
- With a checkmark placed in the row that contains Broadbean click Next.
- Click Remove. A message will appear saying that your post was successfully removed.
- Close
