{"id":6955,"date":"2018-07-18T18:56:04","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T18:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/?p=6955"},"modified":"2023-10-18T20:55:44","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T20:55:44","password":"","slug":"ranking-in-rollup-lists","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/docs\/lists\/ranking-in-rollup-lists\/","title":{"rendered":"Ranking in Rollup Lists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"\">PCRecruiter\u2019s Rollup Ranking feature allows users to assign a rank to a record via a rollup list and carry that rank with them to the Legacy Pipeline if desired.. This tool is especially handy when it comes to initially reviewing candidates or conducting initial phone screen calls via a Rollup List; as it gives users the ability to easily identify a high versus low ranked candidate.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"\">This feature is available for Name, Company and Position Rollups.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Enable Ranking in Rollups<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">The first step to using the Ranking option in to add the Rank column to your desired Rollup Type:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>Rollups<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Main Toolbar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>Any Rollup<\/strong><span style=\"\"> list<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Choose <\/span><strong>Configure<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Action Toolbar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">In the <strong>Layout<\/strong> tab, the Rollup List Fields are the field columns visible in your rollup list view. The bottom of the list will have the option for &#8220;Click to Set Field&#8221;<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">From the <\/span><strong>Click to Set Field<\/strong><span style=\"\"> dropdown select <\/span><strong>Rollup Rank<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Move this new field wherever you desire in your Rollup Layout via dragging and dropping<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Note: If you have not previously customized your rollup layout you will need to add any other fields you would like to view in the same fashion, as this will override the template layout you were previously using.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">If desired, choose to sort your rollup lists via Rollup Rank. Choosing this setting will automatically show your best records first when accessing a Rollup List.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><strong>Save<\/strong><span style=\"\"> your changes <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Using Ranking in Rollups<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">Once you have added the Rollup Rank to your Rollup Layout you can begin Ranking your records. Keep in mind, you will need to refresh the Rollup List you had open to see the change.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>Rollups<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Main Toolbar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select a <\/span><strong>Rollup<\/strong><span style=\"\"> list<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">As you begin working your way through your Rollup, choose the appropriate number of stars in the Rollup Rank column for each record, no need to save once this is done!<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Note: Once you have ranked records you may select the column header to sort by the rank. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9094\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/07\/Ranking-in-Rollups-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1915\" height=\"350\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"\">Viewing Rollup Rank<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"\">The Rollup Rank can be viewed; of course from the Rollup List the Rank is set for, but you may also view the Rank from within the desired record. To do this, select the <\/span><strong>record <\/strong><span style=\"\">then choose <\/span><strong>Rollups<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Navigation toolbar; here you will see any rollup lists the record exists on and their current Rank on each Rollup. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9095\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/07\/Ranking-in-Rollups-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1914\" height=\"314\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Moving\/Copying to Rollups<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">If a record is moved or copied to another Rollup, you will have the option to carry the Rank with the record to its new location.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Access a <\/span><strong>Rollup <\/strong><span style=\"\">List<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><strong>Checkmark<\/strong><span style=\"\"> the Record or Records you would like to move or copy to a new Rollup<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">From the Action Toolbar, choose<\/span><strong> Copy to Rollup<\/strong><span style=\"\"> or <\/span><strong>Move to Rollup<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><strong>Copy to Rollup:<\/strong><span style=\"\"> Leaves the record on the current Rollup but also adds it to the selected Rollup<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><strong>Move to Rollup:<\/strong><span style=\"\"> Removes the record from the current Rollup and adds them to the selected Rollup<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Use the checkbox to identify if you would like to <\/span><strong>Preserve Rank<\/strong><span style=\"\"> when moving or copying<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Preserve rank when copying records, Checked:<\/strong> Rank is copied to the new Rollup list<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Preserve rank when copying records, Unchecked:<\/strong> Record is added to the new Rollup with a blank Rank.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the <\/span><strong>Rollup <\/strong><span style=\"\">you would like the Record added to<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">You will see a progress bar indicating when the Move\/Copy is complete<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Note: If the Record already exists on the new Rollup it will not be duplicated and the Rank will not be updated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Link to Legacy Position<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">When working in a Name Rollup and utilizing the Rank feature, users have the ability to carry the Rank with the candidate into the Legacy Pipeline.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Access a <\/span><strong>Rollup<\/strong><span style=\"\"> List<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><strong>Checkmark<\/strong><span style=\"\"> the Name or Names you would like to link to a Position<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">From the Action Toolbar, choose <\/span><strong>Link to Position<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Use the checkbox the top to identify if you would like to <\/span><strong>Preserve Rank<\/strong><span style=\"\"> when linking<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Preserve rank when copying records, Checked:<\/strong> Rank is copied to the Pipeline<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Preserve rank when copying records, Unchecked:<\/strong> Record is added to the Pipeline with a blank Rank.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the <\/span><strong>Position<\/strong><span style=\"\"> you would like the Name added to either via Recent Positions or Searching (the position selected must be using the legacy pipeline)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">You will see a progress bar indicating when this is complete<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Note: If a name already exists in the Pipeline the Name nor the Rank will be added<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PCRecruiter\u2019s Rollup Ranking feature allows users to assign a rank to a record via a rollup list and carry that rank with them to the Legacy Pipeline if desired..
