This split will happen based on if the value of the field is an Email Address or a Website.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Create a Custom Company Field<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">The first step to using this global change is to create the custom fields which your data will be moved into.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>System<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Main Toolbar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select<\/span><strong> Custom Fields<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">From the Custom Fields menu, choose <\/span><strong>Company Custom Fields<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Choose <\/span><strong>Add<\/strong><span style=\"\"> to create your custom field, be sure to add this to your Company Layout for easy accessibility (Visit our Learning Center to learn more about creating custom fields).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"\">Execute the Split Global Change<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"\">Now that your fields are created you are ready to run the Global Change<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>System<\/strong><span style=\"\"> from the Main Toolbar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>Global Change<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Choose <\/span><strong>Split Company Email\/WWW Field<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Use the dropdowns to designate where you would like your Email values and Website values copied to <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9171\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/Split-company.www-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"373\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Check <\/span><strong>Modify Only Empty Fields<\/strong><span style=\"\"> to not overwrite existing data in the custom fields (In cases where the field is already populated, no change will occur).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select <\/span><strong>Run<\/strong><span style=\"\"> when you are ready to perform the action (This will take a few minutes and varies greatly depending on database size)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"\">Once this change is ran, return to a company record with the Email\/WWW Address field populated, you will see the value can now be seen in the desired Custom field based on the value type (Email vs. Web Address).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9172\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/Split-company.www-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1900\" height=\"489\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9173\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/Split-company.www-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1914\" height=\"483\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"\">**Please Note: It is recommended this change only be ran in your database once.
