For instance, if only two users should see an internal position, both the users and the position would need to be part of the same group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature is not commonly used. Due to the complexity and secure data involved, we highly recommend contacting PCRecruiter Support for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create the Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click <strong>System<\/strong> in the Main Menu.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Users<\/strong><\/li><li>Select <strong>Group<\/strong> from the Navigation menu at the top of the frame.<\/li><li>Choose <strong>Add Group<\/strong> from Action menu.<\/li><li>Complete the Information:<ul><li>Group: The name of the Group.<\/li><li>Description: A brief explanation of this group&#8217;s purpose.<\/li><li>Inherit Access To Associated Groups: Users within this Group will be able to access records belonging to other Groups associated with this one.<\/li><li>Inherit Access To Others In Same Group: Users within this Group will be able to access records belonging to other members of the Group.<\/li><li>Analytics: Enable or Disable this Group in PCR Analytics.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Use the Group Associations section to associate other Groups with this one.<\/li><li><strong>Save<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add Users to the Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click <strong>System<\/strong> in the Main Menu.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Users<\/strong><\/li><li>Click on the desired Username<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Group<\/strong> box on the left side of the record details.<\/li><li>Locate the desired group in Available Groups<\/li><li>Select the plus icon to move that item to Selected Groups<\/li><li><strong>Save<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Restrict Access<\/strong> checkbox on this screen will prevent the user from accessing any records not associated with the Group or its members. If this box is checked without adding the User to a Group, the User will <em>only<\/em> be able to access records associated with their own username.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add Records to the Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may want to give members of a Group access to specific records. Records can be added to a Group as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the desired Name, Company, or Position<\/li><li>Choose <strong>Associations <\/strong>from the navigation toolbar<\/li><li>Choose the <strong>Groups <\/strong>tab<\/li><li>Locate the desired group in Available Groups<\/li><li>Select the plus icon to move it to Selected Groups<\/li><li><strong>Save<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The User Groups section provides the ability to limit user access to particular records.
