Please note that you can only copy Name and Company records between databases. Positions cannot be copied from one database to another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>User name must be a Full Permission &#8211; System Administrator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User name must be the same in each database<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Password has to be the same in each database<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must log in to both databases prior to moving\/copying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User security settings for BOTH databases: Data Transfer set to Import\/Export, Allow Record Merging to Full Permission\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Manage Users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Username involved with the move\/copy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the Other tab set Data Transfer to &#8216;Import, Export&#8217;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: revert;background-color: var(--global--color-background);color: var(--global--color-primary);font-family: var(--global--font-secondary)\">Within the Other tab set Allow Record Merging to \u2018Full Permission<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moving records between databases<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, <a href=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/docs\/lists\/add-group-to-rollup\/\">add the records<\/a> to a rollup list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the rollup list and select all records you wish to move\/copy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Action<\/strong> menu dropdown in the upper right corner and select either Copy or Move to database\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Copy to Database<\/strong> will make a copy of the selected record in the target database<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Move to Database<\/strong> will move the selected records from the source database to the target database.\u00a0 The records will no longer be accessible from the source database once moved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Target database<\/strong>, this is the database the records will be moved\/copied to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Duplicate Checking Options<\/strong>, these are the fields compared in order to detect duplicate records in the target database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your <strong>Database Copy Options<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Move<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This may take some time depending on how many records are being moved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Requirements There are a few requirements that must be met before you are able to move\/copy records between databases.
