{"id":5778,"date":"2016-06-14T20:55:38","date_gmt":"2016-06-14T20:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learning2.pcrecruiter.net\/?p=5778"},"modified":"2026-03-12T19:34:25","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T19:34:25","password":"","slug":"creating-interview-letters","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/docs\/uncategorized\/creating-interview-letters\/","title":{"rendered":"Creating Interview letters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Interview letters are primarily used in pipeline automation plans as well as bulk emailing from your pipeline.<br \/>\n<strong>Creating Interview Form Letters:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click<\/span> <span style=\"\">System on main toolbar and select Form Letters from the dropdown menu. <\/span><span style=\"\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click on Interview Letters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click on the plus sign under the dropdown menu on the lower frame on the right hand side of the screen to add a new letter. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Name the document. The name provided auto-populates as the subject of the email. <\/span><strong>Do not use symbols in the name of the letter.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>New Document<\/strong> button to remove existing text and start a new letter.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Open Document<\/strong> button to find and upload a file on your computer to the PCRecruiter Form Letter area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Save Document<\/strong> button to save a copy of the letter to your computer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Print<\/strong> button to send the letter to your printer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Cut, Copy or Paste<\/strong> buttons to transfer content to and from your clipboard.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Left Justify, Center and Right Justify<\/strong> buttons to align selected letter content.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Format Paragraph<\/strong> to create headings, numbered lists and ordered lists.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Bold, Underline, and Italics<\/strong> buttons to format text.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Insert Picture<\/strong> icon to include images.<\/span><span style=\"\">Type content of the email into the Text box. The toolbar within the Text area provides features for creating the Form Letter:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\"><strong>Insert Fields<\/strong> button to insert date, field data, signature, links to profiles, links to update resume, or an Email Opt Out Link .<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the <\/span><i><span style=\"\">Verify Contact Info<\/span><\/i><span style=\"\"> option to provide the recipient with a link they can click to update their contact information in your database.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the <\/span><i><span style=\"\">Update Resume<\/span><\/i><span style=\"\"> option to provide the recipient with a link they can click to build their resume, view their current resume, or replace their resume and send it to your database.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select a <\/span><i><span style=\"\">profile.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"\"> option to provide the recipient with a link they can click to complete a candidate profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the <\/span><i><span style=\"\">Email Opt Out Link<\/span><\/i><span style=\"\"> option to provide the recipient with a link they can click to be placed on your &#8216;Global Do Not Send List&#8217;.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">The User Name field will default to your user name, which means this is a document for your use (It can be used by others but they would need to select your username).
