Use this area to define the fields used while collecting credentials. History is commonly used to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Collect credentials via an emailed application (created using PCR <a href=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/creating-profiles\/\">Profiles<\/a>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Collect credentials via online application (must use <a href=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/configuring-candidate-extensions\/\">PCRecruiter Web Extension<\/a> Add On)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"\">The types of credentialing PCR may collect are: Work History, References, Licenses, Education, and Military Service. \u00a0These items can only be searched using Advanced Name Search and are not available for reporting.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Configuring History Fields<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click the <strong>System<\/strong> icon on the Main Toolbar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click <strong>Database Setup<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click <strong>History Fields<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select the type of credentialing to configure. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Under Field List, use the <strong>Field Value<\/strong> dropdowns to select from a set list of the fields. Custom fields are not supported.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Override the display <strong>Field Label<\/strong> (OPTIONAL). It is not recommended to change the purpose of the field. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Select if the field should be required for external (candidates) or internal users.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Some fields offer <strong>Dropdown Values<\/strong>. Use this link to configure options for the dropdown.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Web Extension<\/strong> and <strong>Profile Settings<\/strong>, you can set the number of required credentials<\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> action icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding History from a Name Record<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>History information can be collected from any Name Record in PCRecruiter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open a Name Record and click the <strong>History<\/strong> navigation tab<\/li><li>Select the type of credential to add by clicking the charm to the left (Work History, Education, References, Licensing, Military Service)<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Add History<\/strong> icon from the action menu dropdown<\/li><li>Enter the details<\/li><li><strong>Save<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every Name Record has a section called History used to store a person\u2019s credentials.
