While the Job Title field on the Positions and the Title field on Names are typically filled in with manually entered values, some users find it helpful to create a predefined list to pick from for more consistent data. It is also possible to present this dropdown of Titles when asking candidates to self-enter via the Job Board, thereby increasing consistency for future searcing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Titles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a Titles Table has been defined, you can access it by using the popup icon (<span class=\"icon-medium icon-PopOut\"><\/span>) to the right of the <strong>Title <\/strong>field on Names or <strong>Job Title<\/strong> field on Positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add Titles Manually<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click the <strong>System<\/strong> icon on the Main menu.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Database Setup<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Titles<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> in the Action menu<\/li><li>Enter a desired Title:<ul><li>Category (Optional) \u2014 Subdividing Titles into Categories can make locating specific titles quicker when applying them.<\/li><li>Code (Optional) \u2014 Titles can be sorted by Code when selecting them.<\/li><li>Description \u2014 The Title itself (Max 50 Characters)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Import a List of Titles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Prepare a three-column CSV file with the following three columns. Do not include a &#8216;header&#8217; row. If you do not wish to use a Category or Code, you will still need to include those two blank columns, putting all titles into the third column.<ul><li>Category (Optional) \u2014 Subdividing Titles into Categories can make locating specific titles quicker when applying them.<\/li><li>Code (Optional) \u2014 Titles can be sorted by Code when selecting them.<\/li><li>Description \u2014 The Title itself (Max 50 Characters)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Click the <strong>System<\/strong> icon on the Main menu.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Database Setup<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Titles<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Import <\/strong>in the Action menu<\/li><li>Click <strong>Browse<\/strong> and locate your file<\/li><li>If your file is separated by tabs, pipes, or semi-colons rather than the more typical Comma (as may be needed if the titles contain commas), change the Field Delimiter accordingly.<\/li><li>If you wish to replace all existing Titles, check the Delete Any Existing Codes box.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to import.
