These records are grouped together for a variety of reasons including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call Planning<\/li>\n<li>Imported Records<\/li>\n<li>Records to be mass updated or deleted<\/li>\n<li>Reporting needs<\/li>\n<li>Bulk Emailing Campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Sequencing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Create a Rollup List<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Rollup<\/strong> icon on the Main toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Add<\/strong> action icon.<\/li>\n<li>Enter a <strong>Name<\/strong> (up to 20 characters, this is the only Required field).<\/li>\n<li>Enter a <strong>Description\u00a0<\/strong>(Optional). Description is used for noting the purpose or contents of the list.<\/li>\n<li>Select a <strong>Category<\/strong> (Optional). Category is helpful for and organizing lists.<\/li>\n<li>Modify the User Created and Owner Name fields if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Switch Shared to No if other users should not have access to open the list.<\/li>\n<li>Specify a Default Activity Type (this step is normally skipped unless using an Activity Type\/Result activity setup).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Creating Rollups on the fly<\/h2>\n<p>When adding records to a Rollup, you can always create a new Rollup List on the fly instead of adding to an existing list.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From any Add to Rollup window, click the <strong>Add Rollup<\/strong> button on the bottom right.<\/li>\n<li>Follow steps 3-9 from above.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rollups are a list of Company, Name or Position records.
