Keywords act as \u2018tags\u2019 to mark a record with specific words for later searching. You can use keywords to indicate a candidate\u2019s skills, industries, certifications, etc. They are not date\/time\/user stamped like Notes or Activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Access the Company, Name, or Position record<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Keywords<\/strong> icon on the Navigation Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click into the text area<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Type the keyword terms related to the record. Do not format with commas, parenthesis or quotation marks as this could affect your ability to search.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. If your administrator has defined keyword tables in the System area, you can select the various codes (Skill Codes, Specialty Codes, etc.) and select your keywords accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select Save when finished.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Multiple Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Add the desired records to a Rollup List<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Open System<\/strong> in the Main Menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Choose Global Change<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Choose Bulk Add Keyword<\/strong>\n

      • Choose the type of record you wish to update<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Select the Rollup List that contains the records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Indicate whether you intend to Add<\/strong> or Remove<\/strong> the keyword from these records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        • Keyword Text \u2014 Add one or more keywords or “quoted phrases”, separated by spaces, into the box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Predefined \/ Custom Field \u2014 Select a field on the record in which the desired word is found.
