Set Phone Configuration for Users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Please note that this is a one-time step that must be enabled by an administrator\u200b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- \n
- Select System<\/strong> from the main menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select Users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose Manage Users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the User Name<\/strong> you wish to enable RingCentral for.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the Gear<\/strong> configuration icon next to the Contact Phone field. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

- In the Telephone Settings panel, select RingCentral<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter the user’s direct number in the Phone Number<\/strong> and Direct Dial Number<\/strong> fields. The number must be entered in the +1 format as shown below. Do not add the extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- \u200bSet the User Phone Configuration<\/strong> dropdown to RingCentral App (unless using an IP Phone) <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

RingCentral Setup (Steps for the User)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Download the RingCentral app<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\u200bEach user who will be using RingCentral will need to download<\/a> and install the RingCentral app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a user’s RingCentral settings have been entered by an administrator, the user can authenticate their account via the MyPCR screen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Select MyPCR<\/strong> from the Main toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select \u201cYou are not authenticated with RingCentral, click here to login.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter your Email or Phone number<\/strong> that is associated with your RingCentral account (or utilize one of their SSO options)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Next<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter your RingCentral Password<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Sign In<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nA Notification will appear\u00a0in the bottom right corner of your window\u00a0when there is an incoming call. If multiple records\u00a0matching the phone number exist, the record\u00a0with the most recent activity will appear. If the phone number is found on both Names and Companies, the Company record will be favored in the pop-up.
Clicking on the notification will launch a window with the matching records. The top three will be shown (in order of most recent activity) and the ‘More Records’ option will show additional items up to a maximum of 50 per record type. The << icon will collapse the sidebar to increase screen space if needed. If no records match, the option to add a new record will be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\nIncoming Call Notification Setup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

- Scroll down to the General <\/strong>section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enable Launch an external app or website for incoming calls.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Manage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the Enter command field, paste the statement below depending on your operating system (Windows or Mac)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

- When logging into a database for the first time, after the update that has RingCentral enabled, the user will receive a PCR notification that prompts them to enable those notifications within Chrome.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
