Clients, jobseekers, field managers, and others who do not access the full application are not considered Users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCRecruiter accounts are typically billed on a per-user basis. Please be aware of the user count in your particular SaaS contract when adding new users to your database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding a User<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Select <strong>System<\/strong> from the main menu.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span>Click <strong>Users<\/strong> <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span>Click <strong>Manage Users<\/strong>*<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span>Click <strong>Add User +<\/strong> in the action menu.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete, at minimum, the User Name and Password fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> at the lower right.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Information&#8221; section of the Add User screen contains basic user details such as Username, Password, Email, and basic Phone details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clicking on the colored horizontal headers will expand and collapse the sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full Name&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Email Address:<\/strong>&nbsp;This information ensures the From field will be populated when sending an email. Please note all users will need to configure their Email Alias Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contact Phone<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Office Extension:&nbsp;<\/strong>If using a phone integration (Such as RingCentral), your settings will be stored here. If you are not utilizing a phone system these fields are informational only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Username<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Password<\/strong>&nbsp;(You must&nbsp;<strong>Verify Password<\/strong>&nbsp;as well) will be login credentials for each user. Usernames have a 10 character limit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Model User:<\/strong>&nbsp;Designates that settings can be copied from the specified username to other users. This includes Preferences, Securities, Layouts, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Is API User:<\/strong>&nbsp;This setting is to only be used if you are working with a third party developer and have been instructed to do so by a Main Sequence team member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enroll User in LMS<\/strong>: When checked, an invitation email to setup a username and password for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lms.pcrecruiter.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LMS<\/a> (Learning Managment System) will be sent to the email address specified in the user&#8217;s Contact Information above. (Check your spam folder if you don&#8217;t see the email invite). The <a href=\"https:\/\/lms.pcrecruiter.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LMS<\/a> can be accessed from the main menu of the Learning Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Replication ID:<\/strong>&nbsp;This code will be appended to the front of the Identification field for Names and Position records entered by this user (This can be used to include the users initials in the Identification field) test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Copy Settings From Username<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve customized your PCRecruiter database and you want to make sure each new user you add inherits that customization then you can copy user settings from an existing Model User. By default, users do not inherit another user\u2019s customizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the checkboxes under the &#8216;Copy Settings&#8217; area to copy the following from any Model User selected from the &#8216;Select User&#8217; dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User Records<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Copy Security:&nbsp;Use this option to copy another user\u2019s security settings to this user (Add, Save, Delete, etc.)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy Preference:&nbsp;Use this option to copy another user\u2019s preference settings to this user (Auto write activities, merge records, auto display options, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy Security Policy:&nbsp;Use this option to copy only the Security Policy section of another user\u2019s setup (Password expires, account is disabled, user must change password, etc. \u2013 this is typically not used as these are mostly very specific settings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Settings:&nbsp;This option copies a user\u2019s international settings to a new user (Country Name, Country Code, Default Area Code, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Name, Company, Position Records<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Layout \u2013 Name, Company, Position:&nbsp;Use this to copy Name, Company and Position layouts to other users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Layout \u2013 MyPCR:&nbsp;This will copy any custom queries from the Source Usernames MyPCR screen to the target user<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Record Card \u2013 Name, Company, Position:&nbsp;Record Cards are used to display your recently viewed records. This option will copy the fields and quick action icons that are displayed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activity Defaults \u2013 Name, Company, Position:&nbsp;Use this option to copy the Activity Screen defaults (Copy to Company, show\/hide fields and add to schedule)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interviews\/Placements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Interview Settings:&nbsp;Copies the options selected when accessing the Add Interview screen<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pipeline Configuration:&nbsp;Copies the pipeline column headers, rows displayed, and additional details \u2013 This does not include Interview Types and Status as those are automatically applied to all users in the database<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Placement Layouts:&nbsp;Copy custom Placement screen layouts (Including Permanent and Contract Placements)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rollup Lists<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Copy Rollup List Layout:&nbsp;Use this option to copy a custom rollup layout, this will include headers, I Want To options, and rows per page<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy Rollup Stage Setup:&nbsp;Copy the rollup stages used when working a rollup to identify their current stage in your process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pins and Actions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pinned Navigations and Action Icons:&nbsp;Within the many PCRecruiter dropdowns, you have the ability to pin\/unpin desired icons \u2013 this option will copy those icon pin settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Form Letters<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Copy Form Letters:&nbsp;Copies all form letters (Note, this will not be selected when using the \u2018Select All\u2019 option as this should only be used when copying settings between databases)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* If you do not have the Manage Users option, you are not logged into PCRecruiter with an account that has administrator security permissions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Within PCRecruiter, a &#8220;User&#8221; refers to a licensed login account used by a recruiter, administrator, sourcer, or any other person connecting via the primary login page.
