Linking Candidates to the Pipeline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once a Candidate has been identified as a potential Candidate for a position, you will want to link them to the Pipeline for that Position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individually from a Name Record<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Select\u00a0Name\u00a0<\/strong>from the Main Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select a\u00a0Name\u00a0<\/strong>from the Recently Viewed Name Cards or select a Name from a Search Result List<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose\u00a0Link to Position\u00a0<\/strong>from the Action Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. From the dialog window you will choose the\u00a0Position\u00a0<\/strong>you wish to Link them to:\n
      \n
    1. Select a Position<\/strong>\u00a0from the Recent Positions and the Name will automatically become Linked.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. If you don\u2019t see the Position you are looking for, enter your\u00a0Search Criteria\u00a0<\/strong>to find the Position. Click\u00a0Search\u00a0<\/strong>at the bottom of the screen. Once you are viewing the Search Results, place a checkmark to the left of the position(s) you wish to Link the Candidate to and then choose\u00a0Link Items<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. A confirmation screen will appear confirming that the Name has been Linked. If they were already linked to the Position, you will see that the Name Already Existed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      From a Name Search Result Screen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      One way to Link multiple Name Records to a Pipeline is via a Name Search Result List<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. Select\u00a0Name\u00a0<\/strong>from the Main Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter your search criteria and click\u00a0Search<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Place\u00a0check marks\u00a0<\/strong>in the boxes to the left of the Names you wish to Link<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click\u00a0Link to Position\u00a0<\/strong>from the Action Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. The selection dialog window will appear,\u00a0choose the position\u00a0<\/strong>you wish to link following the same steps as when Linking an individual Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. A confirmation screen will appear once all Names have been Linked. If any of the Names were already Linked to the Pipeline, they will be skipped.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        From a Rollup List<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Linking to a Pipeline from a Rollup List if very similar to Linking from the Search Results. Be sure to have a Rollup List created to follow these steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Select\u00a0Rollups\u00a0<\/strong>from the Main Toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Select the\u00a0Rollup List\u00a0<\/strong>you wish to Link Names from<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Place\u00a0check marks\u00a0<\/strong>in the boxes to the left of the Names you wish to Link<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Choose the\u00a0Link to Position\u00a0<\/strong>option from the Action Menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. The selection dialog window will appear,\u00a0choose the position\u00a0<\/strong>you wish to link following the same steps as when Linking an individual Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. A confirmation screen will appear once all Names have been Linked. If any of the Names were already Linked to the Pipeline, they will be skipped.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          From the Pipeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          While working in the Pipeline itself, you can use the search box on the Inbox column to find and add candidates by name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Select Position<\/strong> from the Main Toolbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Click\u00a0Pipeline<\/strong> in the navigation menu on the Position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Expand the\u00a0Inbox<\/strong> column, if not already expanded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Begin typing the First and\/or Last Name<\/strong> of the desired candidate into the “Search To Add To Pipeline” box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. When the desired candidate appears, select them from the result dropdown to add them to the Pipeline Inbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
