We are going to manually enter the information for this person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open an <strong>email<\/strong> from Gmail<\/li><li>Note that the senders First and Last Name have been pulled into the Manually Add Record Section (you can also click into these fields to modify) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9308\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/07\/Gmail-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\"><\/li><li>Click <strong>Manually Add Record<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Enter<\/strong> record information manually\n<ol>\n<li>Use the <strong>Status <\/strong>dropdown to select the records Status<\/li>\n<li>Begin typing the <strong>Company Name<\/strong> to Select the Company this person should be added to (this is searching the Company Records from your database, leaving this field blank will add the record to your Default Company) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9309\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/07\/Gmail-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"284\" height=\"137\"><\/li>\n<li>Continue<strong> entering <\/strong>information<\/li>\n<li>Click<strong> Add<\/strong> when Finished <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9311\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/07\/Gmail-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"373\" height=\"890\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You will now see the new Name Record you have created and can interact with (we will cover these feature further on)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parse from Email Body\/Signature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we will create a record from the Email body\/Signature<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open an <strong>Email<\/strong> from Gmail<\/li><li>In the <strong>Create Record From<\/strong> section, choose<strong> Email body\/signature<\/strong><\/li><li>Click<strong> Create <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9312\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/07\/Gmail-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\"><\/strong><\/li><li>You will see the information has been parsed, modify any of it prior to clicking<strong> Add<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parse Resume<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we will create a record from a resume the sender has provided us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open an <strong>email<\/strong> in Gmail that contains a Resume attachment<\/li><li>In the <strong>Create Record From<\/strong> section, choose the<strong> Resume document <\/strong>you wish to parse<\/li><li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong><\/li><li>Now you will see the parsed <strong>details<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Modify<\/strong> any fields<\/li><li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The record has now been added to PCR and the Resume can be found, as usual, in the resume section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manually Add Without Email<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to manually enter a record but you do not have a recent email from them, you may still do so without leaving the Gmail screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click the<strong> three dots<\/strong> to access the PCR Add-On Menu<\/li><li>Click <strong>Create Name Record <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"372\" height=\"282\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9313\" src=\"https:\/\/learning.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/07\/Gmail-5.png\" alt=\"\"><\/strong><\/li><li>Enter the Record <strong>details<\/strong><\/li><li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> when finished<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the PCRecruiter Gmail Add-On installed, you can add new Names to the database as follows: Manually Add First, let\u2019s open an email from a person we would like to add.
